17 Places to Donate Your Unwanted Items
/We’ve all heard the mantra reduce, reuse, recycle. So how can you make a positive impact on the environment and in someone else’s life all at once? Fortunately, there are simple ways you can donate your clothes and other household items to help save the planet, and simultaneously, help people in need.
Below, we’ve compiled a list for you to consider, but please, do your due diligence and call the organizations to make sure they are accepting the types of donations you have (links provided!). And only donate items that are clean and in good working order. Many of the donation sites listed below will come to your home to pick up the items you have to donate, if you have large, bulky items.
